1st Annual FCP Racing Banquet Comes Out a Success

Sep 22, 2008

On what was the epitome of an early fall day in the upper Midwest, the first ever Forest County Potawatomi Racing Meet and Greet took place in Carter, Wisconsin with more than 200 people on hand to enjoy the festivities.

Fans and tribal members at the event received FCP Racing hats, calendars and chili and fry bread all free of charge. They also were able to get autographs, take an up and personal look at the racing vehicles and hear stories from their favorite drivers, as all 32 members and the crews of the FCP Racing Team were on hand.

At the end of the event, there was also a raffle where prizes of all kinds were given to fans, with the grand prize being a miniaturized version of Jeff Kincaid’s PRO Light truck donated by Traxxas.

Drivers supplies t-shirts, hats and other miscellaneous products to the drawing. After all the fan festivities were over, the drivers, family and crew members migrated into the Carter Casino facility for the first ever FCP Racing banquet.

The banquet consisted of an end of the year video, prepared by racing intern Mike Kennedy, speeches by all the drivers about their season and the highlights of the season. General Manager Tom Boelter played host for all the events on the day.

After a wonderful round of speeches by the drivers about their season, the entire team sat down to a wonderful dinner prepared by the Northern Lights Casino. Hopefully this will be the first in a long line of Forest County Potawatomi Racing Meet & Greet/Banquet events.
